A New Life

A New Life, an installation made of materials that may otherwise go to landfill opened on Tuesday 6th September. The purpose of the exhibition is to highlight items that we have at home but are not necessarily collected in our black boxes or blue bins. After the exhibition, all items will be distributed to organisations that recycle or repurpose these items, e.g. glasses will be sent to developing countries, flower pots will go to Scrubditch Care Farm.

The installation was made by Jane Quigley, John Meldrum, and Gilly Riddington to help promote the Pop-Up Recycling on Saturday 1st October on Ellisons forecourt from 10 am to 12 pm, Ashton Keynes.

Do chat to them about it when you go along with your items to be recycled. I’m sure they’d love to hear your reactions!
