The current
exhibition is Natural Living by Laura Kirk (laurakirkdesigns) and
is on until 7th August. It’s fantastic to showcase the work of a
very talented artist and designer and it’s been very popular. Laura lives
locally and is delighted to have the opportunity to share her work with us all.
Her exhibition is a delightful mix of macrame, paintings, digital art, and
stationery.
During
lockdown, Laura was a student at the University of Leeds studying Fine Art and without
a studio she had to be more inventive with creating. Like a lot of people, she
would go on her daily walk and document some of her favourite things she saw
and reproduced them in watercolour, a medium she discovered during lockdown and
fell in love with. Along with this, her
love for craft and different hobbies grew with making macrame creations as well
