Blooming Fantastic!

At the June meeting, members of Ashton Keynes WI made tissue paper flowers—one to take home and one for the gallery display at the end of June called Blooming Fantastic. I led the session and used the cinema screen to show a step-by-step video demonstration, as well as demonstrating the process step by step.

There were also plans for a mini printmaking workshop to create paper vases for displaying the flowers. However, due to the red weather warnings, it was cancelled and so they were strung together and hung down in the centre of the kiosk with fairy lights making the exhibition magical at night.
